The world series...

First off -i'm doing this from my computer that has a couple of keys that stick... so it goes.


So. I should have been at the world series tonight. OR... "had i played my cards right..." i would have been.

I suppose throwing down current stuff is somewhat strange as I haven't posted in a while...but...well...

So. You think you are over someone. You think that "well that sucks, she wasn't perfect but there isn't a good reason why it ended..." Until you get something - a smell, a song, a something.

Today I got a something. The ex's father owns a couple minor league baseball teams - it means that they get tickets to ....the world series. Tonight she flew out to philly with a guy she has been with for less time that we were together to see game 4.

sigh. That would have been me. I should have been at that game... IF I would have done whatever I should have done. I was everything she needed - just nothing she wanted - so it goes.

And I was only like that because I hadn't gotten over the girl before her and was treating H the way K wanted to be treated - which also ended because I treated K the way that C wanted to be treated.

Shmoo fail.

On the good side - there are no internet pictures of me having sex with a statue (nor could there be) - but there are of the guy she went to the world series with .... how i should feel about that... well... makes me want to blog...

Norton Wisdom...

This guy was in Bloomington last weekend... went to his show... it was quite amazing... after the end of each song he take a picture of it and then just wipe away the paint and do something else... I bought two of his prints. I'm awaiting the prints from the Bloomington show so i can get one or two of those...

And he works with all these different bands ... so each show is different...

Why'd I leave?

Sometimes people will ask why i left Michigan... i mean i do have some family up there ... but they are over packed with lawyers and a job_thing wasn't going on... i suppose i could have stayed up there for a while at least until the bar prep stuff would have happened... life would have turned out a LOT differently had that happened... i think.

But one of the reasons not to stay is just that Michigan is an economic dead zone. Oh you think you have it bad... MI is much worse...

Click the link and see some really interesting photos from some french people (published in Time) that show quite a bit of the ruin. Looking at those pictures makes me think of Mad Max or other post-civilization movies... hell if i was producing a movie like that i'd zip on over to D-troit and film there... save lots of cash on props...
